　　BYD’s Ocean Net is a comprehensive sales network, which has more distinctive new energy attributes and is aimed at younger users. It has two product sequences, namely, a pure electric product series named after marine life and equipped with the latest technology of E platform 3.0 and a hybrid product series named after warships and equipped with DM-i super hybrid technology. The destroyer 05, which was unveiled this time, is the first car of Ocean Net and the first model of warship series.

　　In recent years, BYD’s models mostly belong to the series of "Long Yan Aesthetics" design, which has won the aesthetics of many consumers in China through domineering and three-dimensional lines. As for the models coming to Ocean Net series, based on the younger target user group, destroyer 05 did not inherit the previous style, but was built with the design concept of "ocean aesthetics", which is obviously different from the "Dragon Beauty" of Dynasty series in design style.

　　According to the official statement, "marine aesthetics" is based on inheritance and innovation, so it is more inclined to carve the body posture of trend aesthetics to interpret the new energy attribute of its scientific and technological movement. Therefore, we can also see that the style of destroyer 05 is obviously different from the BYD model that we are used to seeing. In this static appreciation, the official gave the real car with blue and gray paint. When the more concise figure and the front face with full impact were covered with these two colors, it showed a different freshness from BYD in my mind.

　　I believe that everyone who sees destroyer 05 for the first time will be shocked by its exaggerated front face. This set of front face, called dot matrix borderless grille, builds the design core of destroyer 05. Its design inspiration comes from the ripples of the waves. Through the drop-shaped dot matrix and staggered decorative strips, the boundary of the traditional grille is weakened. On the basis of inheriting BYD’s traditional horizontal bar grille, its trapezoidal horizontal strips are staggered, and the visual width of the whole vehicle is further extended by combining the vertical air guides on both sides of the front.

　　The destroyer 05 adopts LED light source, and the recognizable penetrating daytime running light combined with the decorative strip above creates a wide-body, low-lying and radical visual effect; The dual-lens headlights are sharp in shape, supplemented by dot matrix design on both sides, combined with BYD’s new Logo, which further enhances the recognition and sense of technology of the front face.

　　The taillights of the new car are designed in a geometric array lattice, which is highly recognizable with the penetrating running lights echoing the front of the car. 　　Xiaoyun-Plug-in special 1.5L high-efficiency engine is specially built for DM-i super hybrid technology, with a thermal efficiency of 43%, a peak power of 81kW/6000rpm and a peak power of 135 N m/4500 rpm, and many revolutionary changes such as 15.5 superelevation, Atkinson cycle, EGR cooling, etc. Compared with the previous generation engine, the friction loss of BYD plug-in special high-efficiency engine is reduced by 10%, the weight of the whole engine is reduced by 10 kg, the fuel consumption without charging is controlled within 4L/100km, and the emission meets the "National Six B".

　　BYD has developed to the third generation of DM technology since it first introduced the first generation of DM technology in 2008 on plug-in hybrid vehicles. First of all, the DM-i system adopts an electric hybrid structure driven by a high-power motor, with a large-capacity power battery as the main energy supply and supplemented, and the fuel consumption is only 3.8L/100km in the case of power shortage. DM-i super hybrid consists of core components such as Xiaoyun-plug-in special 1.5L engine, EHS electric hybrid system, DM-i super hybrid special blade battery and AC/DC vehicle charger.

　　The black technology in EHS electric hybrid system is the integration of double motors+double electronic control+single gear reducer+direct drive clutch+motor oil cooling system. Compared with the separate arrangement of motors and electronic control in the first generation DM technology, the volume is reduced by 30% and the weight is reduced by 30%. In terms of motor speed, the speed of EHS electric hybrid system can reach 16000rpm. Due to the increase of speed, its backup power is more sufficient and the overall driving experience is better. However, due to the increase of rotating speed, it is a great challenge to its sealing and NVH.

　　In addition, the EHS electric hybrid system is mainly driven by electricity in terms of architecture. When the power is sufficient, it has the driving experience of pure electric vehicles, and in the state of power loss, it is mainly driven by electricity, which can greatly reduce fuel consumption. In terms of driving experience, because it has many different driving modes, it can reduce the driver’s driving fatigue, which will be different from the single driving mode in extended-range vehicles.

　　This blade battery supports 3.3kW AC slow charge and 17kW DC fast charge, and also has the characteristics of high power, large capacity and low internal resistance.
